Introducing F1 ACADEMY
F1 ACADEMY is a female-only category designed to increase female participation in the sport, both on and off the track! The aim is to provide young talent in junior categories the on-track experience needed to progress to higher levels of competition and join the Road to F1.

With a focus on three pillars: Community, Youth Engagement and Talent Identification and Participation, F1 ACADEMY DISCOVER YOUR DRIVE offers girls and young women the opportunity to take part in multiple programmes to increase female participation in motorsport.
Start your karting journey
Start the journey to becoming a Formula 1 driver through the sport of karting.
Karting develops all the skills needed to climb the ranks to F1, and with clubs being available in every country around the world, there is no easier time to start!
Join the Esports team
Join over 1.3 million drivers in the battle for their place on an F1 team’s roster. The F1 Sim Racing World Championship is an annual, multi-round competition which sees the 10 F1 teams bring the fastest sim racers in the world together to battle it out on the official Formula 1 video game.

Motorsport has multiple career paths, from engineering-based roles such as mechanics to creative jobs like marketing. At Formula 1, we look to increase STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) education through school programmes, scholarships and working with the Formula 1 community.
